5 Senses Trance (performed on Hypbook) - One day back in January of 2012, the Empress invited the people then resident in the chat room on the social network Hypbook to participate as subjects in an impromptu hypnosis session in which all five senses would be employed. #hypnosis #explore #sensory #input
I wouldn't mind doing some room trancing again!
I got so involved with my reading, that I nearly missed the lunch date. Looked up from the book I was in at the time, and realized I only had 15 minutes to get back to the shop!
So I huffed and I puffed my way back to the shop (not really...lol. Back then, I weighed about 100 lbs dripping wet). The magician raised an eyebrow at the haste of my re-entrance.
"Sorry Lee; I was literally lost in Andre Weitzenhoffer and nearly forgot the time!" (Another sideways glance from my new acquaintance.)
We didn't have far to go; as the restaurant (now sadly, out of business for several decades) was in the next block. For some odd reason, I no longer recall what Lee had for lunch, but I had a Reuben sandwich at his suggestion ("They do great Reubens here; you should try one!").
See? He'd started in already and I was blindsided...lol. In retrospect, I now wonder if that meal suggestion might also have been a "closet suggestibility test" rofl.
We ordered, got our food; and I'd only taken a single bite, when my new friend asked the question that began the road to a super-long friendship and trancing partnership.
"So...do you do rapid inductions?" he asked as I swallowed the first bite of my Reuben.
"No; I like taking my time with an induction; you tend to get greater depth."
"Here; let me show you something", he said. "Look at the tip of my finger." Not knowing what he was up to, I did exactly that; upon which my new friend began a rapid patter as he brought his finger closer and closer to my forehead. When head and finger met, out went the lights.
(Here I must inform the reader that up until that moment, I was used to being the sole hypnotist in any social situation I walked into outside of University.)
I'll continue to construct this "episode" in stages by editing this post. This will take a few days; as I seldom escape the clutches of Real Life.
